Fat Dissolving Injections
Fat dissolving is a treatment which reduces stubborn fat deposits in notoriously tricky areas such as the stomach, outer and inner thighs, and the chin area.
They are a specially formulated compound solution which is injected into the problem area. It works by attaching to fatty deposits, breaking them down over time.
The fat is then naturally dissolved and flushed out by the body. Results are effective, quick, and minimally invasive.

After receiving fat dissolving injections, you can expect some side effects and need to take certain precautions to help with healing and minimise discomfort:
- Avoid aspirin and vitamin E, and instead take paracetamol. You can also apply ice for 5 minutes at a time for soothing relief.
- Bruising is normal and may occur.
- Nodules: Nodules are also common and can last up to a month, but usually go away on their own.
- Drink lots of fluids, especially water, for the first 24 hours.
- Gently massage the treated area for about 15 minutes a day for two weeks to help with fat elimination.
- Avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds, hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms for at least 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours, but light walking is fine.
- Avoid body creams, oil-based makeup, and active cosmeceutical products (AHAs, retinol, vitamin C) for 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours.
